Level 9 Regionals 2014

Aaliyah Kerr of Stafford Royals went to the Region 7 Level 9 Gymnastics Meet at the Boo Williams Complex in Williamsburg, VA, the weekend of April 4-6. Aaliyah finished third in her division to advance to Nationals! Gymnasts from six states were participating, and only the top 6 may qualify to Nationals.

Aaliyah’s individual event scores were all in the Top 6:
Vault 9.325 6th, Uneven Bars 9.325 4th, Balance Beam 9.050 4th, Floor Exercise 9.325 2nd, All-Around 37.075 3rd.

Level 9 Junior Olympic Eastern Championships will be held in Palmetto, Florida, 1-4 May 2014. The Stafford Royals family wish Aaliyah (and Coach Craig Tetreault) the best of luck in the next adventure!

Level 8 Regionals

Stafford Royals’ Brooke Hensen took place in the Region 7 Level 8 Championships. Gymnasts from all six Mid-Atlantic states were present. The Virginia Super Team placed third out of the eight state and all-star teams represented. Contributing to this, Brooke scored 9.0 or higher in two individual events and over 36 for all-around. She placed 5th in the entire Region for her Floor routine.
